Congratulations to all the boys who played against Metro's on Saturday in the first pre-tour warm-up match. This was the first time the boys had played together competetively and the coaches were extremely pleased with what they saw.
We made it clear from the outset that the final score didn't matter, it was how we played together that was important. The boys clearly saw things differently and made sure they played as a team and, to prove that the final score was important, made sure they WON. There was good effort from everybody and really good banter both on and off the field. The boys were clearly having fun, were proving that they were a strong team. From what we saw the team should be able to give the Americans a good game.
The next warm-up game is on Wednesday evening against Brooklands 7:00pm face for the girls game, and 7:30 face for the boys game.
